I've got the same problem as Roy. The glory LWT syndrome. I can't seem to shift that last 800g (and keep it shifted).
I got to 74.8Kg after Tuesday's long sweaty session, then drank it all back on.

I guess it's going to be subsistence rations until the So'ton competition.

I've got no advice for ya, but can commiserate. I have a whopping 35lbs of babyweight to lose before I can call myself lightweight again! (I had a baby 3 months ago). I'm going to be hungry for the next 6 months, I think.

i've stopped eating bacon as it makes me so dehydrated. maybe i'll have the odd bacon butty when i see some nice organic pig pig or something. having it as a very occasional treat makes it all the more enjoyable Smile

Im having trouble putting weight on, lost a stone over Christmas with chicken pox and since then ive been eating heaps but weight seems stuck around 94kgs. I was 98kg when i was rowing my best so im trying to get back to that, obviously i want it to be muscle not fat. So this morning after a 10k i had a bowl of porridge with a tablespoon of honey. 3 boiled eggs with 2 slices of bread, followed by 2 toasted bagles with butter and honey, surely thats got be a few calories. Just about to go have some fruit and a protein shake.... i will get heavier Very Happy

Use progain instead of normal protein. That will do the trick.

Get it from maximuscle.

I have looked at that, but im not sure if i do enough weight training, dont want to really bulk up a lot, just add a few kgs. Prograin has massive calories doesnt it?

hold on, i'll go fetch my violin Sad

seriously, sorry you were ill, that must have been pretty miserable at xmas, especially when you have little 'uns.
i'm just jealous of course. you could have some of my spare weight (alas, 'tis not muscle though - there's a surprise).
good luck in your quest....

Andrew i think the answer to getting on good solid weight and not fat is to eat about 6 meals a day.
just smaller meals at least every 3 hours.
each meal doesnt have to be a real big load .
one meal might be a chicken on a sandwich, with a glass of milk and maybe an banana or some other fruit.
as long as you are keeping the good calories going in and you are not taking too much in on one sitting.
you can only eat so much and when you cant face a meal then thats the time to take a protein drink like Foy Boy says.
