PowerBreathe Empty PowerBreathe

I have started using the new PowerBreathe Sports performance Plus.

Does anybody have a PowerBreathe and is anybody using it at the moment?

What sort of results are you finding from it?

I have one and use it about twice a week, if I can remember.

pirate had some good results from it I believe and the boys trained by Edie use it, Alex Brown was even using it during his warm up for birc.

The science seems pretty good.

I had decent results last time I used it IIRC.

Hopefully it will kick me on....

Used it twice a day for 3 months at first and noticed considerable improvement in my breathing strength. Started at 1 and worked up to 4 on the 1-10 scale. Now its once daily and I guess the results were good when combined with serious training on the 2K IP. 6:42 down to 6:29.9. Also used it as part of my race warm up, knocked down to 3. I'll certainly keep using it.

For the record, as I have nowhere else to put this, I am now on day 3 of 42 of using my Powerbreathe sports performance plus. Currently struggling on level 1.

On day 42 I should be near to PB form

Diaphragm

I think I have a injury to my Diaphragm, and it could be linked to my recent illness, which I thought was viral, but at a visit to Sports Physio recently, eliminating external muscle problems, there was a strong suspicion I may have overdone my use of Powerbreathe..

Presently not used it since BIRC. In the time I did use it, 6 weeks upto BIRC 2007, I went from 1 to 3.5. I worked hard, once a day, NEVER felt any pain or discomfort.. just have this nagging doubt now as to "if" I over did it ?

Very much doubt it Birky.
For starters you didn't even do the prescribed programme of twice per day. Further to that, you where fine at BIRC and it is a long time since you last used it so you would have more than recovered by now if you had strained something.
