Its 41Km (25 miles) to the airport and there is no public transport available. A few of us do carpool on occasion though.

It's less than a minute to walk downstairs. Or it's an hour to cycle to the station, train to Farnborough then walk.

I work about 25k from home

When I have the kids, I go by car (have to bring them to school)

If not, by car, motorbike, train or bus, depending on the weather, how I feel like, my daily program and how early I've managed to get out of bed.

I certainly would go by bycicle quite often, if there was an acceptable alternative to the grmblfx motorway Evil or Very Mad

Tyn: what option shall I choose?

Cycle when I don't need to carry stuff. When my gear wont fit in my bike trailer ( Bob Yak ) I drive my van.

I'm only abut 1km from work so I walk most of the time, but jog in my street clothes on occasion.
