I've had a look round the admin control panel - the option to move the avatars isn't in this "Professor Plum" coloured theme.

Yes, it appears that the default in the themes is to have the stupid thing on the right.

It's under style / color (well hidden). (Won't let me post a link.)

styles -> pictures and colours -> colours -> page structures -> profil's position in the messages (currently set to left)

....? (don't want to touch it for fear of messing it up!)

It's the programming thingy that comes and reads your website. That's how stuff turns up on Google, MSN and Yahoo!, they're running bots that scour the web looking for interesting study words (admidst all the noise and crud that's out there).

There are also the "black-hat" bots that go round seaching for email addresses so that they can SPAM you with penis patches (phony pharmacy), Russian "ladies" cherry & other smut and notifications that your internet banking has expired (identity theft phishing).
