Are people staying here?
I like it here - its fresh clean and I think a lot more relaxed, but if they get the UK forum into some semblance (of how it was) is everyone going to just up and go back there. Not really that keen on diving into threads (or starting them) and diaries here just to find they are abandoned in a week or so or maybe even one or two days.
I think an advantage of this forum is that it has no 'official' affiliation with C2 therefore there can be no political/commercial interference or involvement. It just becomes a place where people who have a 'common interest' can communicate freely and safely, sharing, motivating, supporting, and sometimes handing out the odd 'reality check (something friends are for).
Just my thoughts. So while I keep checking in here to see whats happening (and really like whats going on) I have some uncertainty and I dont really feel like jumping around from one place to another.
cheers

Re: Are people staying here?
I would prefer to just use this one and hope that people follow.
In reality though, I will probably be a sheep and follow the majority. (If I am ever allowed back onto the C2 UK)
My suggestions, in Admin, about changing the forum title and logo etc may be a way to create it's own identity which may steer it away from just being a last resort forum.

I like this one too. So far, as friendly as the other two used to be about 6 years ago. I'll be using all three for now to see how things sort out.

That is a good observation Rick regarding the old spirit and friendliness.
I miss that on the other forum
