i'm going down to the boat house in a minute - will probably do a very easy 10k or something, and then see what people are doing in boats, once the school kids have buggered off. i feel like complete crap this morning - headache and sicky (maybe it's a migraine type thing, not my usual type though)

Thought I'd mention Oarsome results from WIRC: JVB her usual gold/hammer, silver for Roy and I think also John van Blom and Carie Graves, bronze for me. Not a bad medal haul, all things considered....

Plus FoyBoy somehow got a text message to Oarsome read over the PA system in the arena. Priceless!

thanks for the feedback, nh, and well done to all of you who raced . such a shame the forum was down - it killed the event really .

i'm still feeling pretty crappy - must be partly responsible for my poor form recently. i really want to get a better ctc done.

I prescribe a nice glass of Tuscan red and a hot bath. Repeat if necessary.

i have to go to france for a bath - haven't got one here . the wine is less of a problem
