If there was no racing ?
Would you spend as much time on the erg as you do if there was no opportunity to race/compete in a 'live' situation

Yeh, I prefer the training to the racing...not sure Id be so bothered about my times though.

I'd probably spend less time on the erg and more on the cross-trainer, bike or threadmill. For me, the virtual competitions such as the Nonathlon, ctc and C2 rankings, are more important than racing at venues.

I think competitions are incidents that disturb my training rutine.

I definitely would continue to train, though I would focus on longer distances like the HM.
