Pete's diary Empty Pete's diary

Post  petemaboy Tue Feb 12, 2008 2:27 pm

not much to report from me except i'm a bit hacked off at getting nothing done all week.
everything was going well then at the start of last week i got a sore throat that wasnt for going away.
so on thursday i had a second go at the CTC and was pleased enough with the 27min34.5.
that row seemed to set me back a bit.
went to the scottish indoor champs on saturday to cheer on the boy ( he won the j12 ).
sunday morning my voice was gone and now i feel as weak as water.
i walked up 4 flights of stairs today and felt like i'd ran 10 miles.
so i'll have another few days of rest and then start back thursday with something light, hoping i've not gone too far back in a week.
what a moan for a first blog Smile
all the best for now
Pete

Without valleys there would be no peaks, just plateaus. (I keep trying to convince myself of this. What a Face )

today was the first bit of training since last thursday.
2k warm up
1k CAROLE MACS CTC row 3.09.2/ 1.34.6 ave/33spm ..this was a best effort and struggled a bit due to still being under the weather, but happy with the score and the effort had to be good for the cause.
2k cool down.
