well, as all you said was for everyone to go back to where they came from, it seemed a bit pointless!
i still love you though

OK then.
(obviously I fear to write anything negative as it'll just get deleted)

Rowed a 10K on Row Pro this morning with Andreas, Andy Mudge and Darin.
Got a seasons best. Very happy after yesterdays 4 x 2K blast.
Wont tell you how well Darin did. That sort of news should come from the horses mouth.. race horse at that...

Very nice row this morning by both Jef and Darin, perhaps it is the best time for a 10k pb

Re: SUB 7 Indoor Rowing
That was good fun this morning. Am getting quicker at the early starts, sets me up nicely for the day.
Managed a 10k pb - 38:05.2 @ 31spm which was an improvement by 64.6 seconds. Jef kept me going - many thanks
It’s getting confusing posting here and .com site so I’m going to stick to .com unless that thread dries up. Am quite happy to run with the majority view though.

Chris Rowe said he's still working on it. He can't do that without taking it down briefly.

Re: SUB 7 Indoor Rowing
Morning all
Joined a 45 mins this morning or rowpro, but did a 5 x2k 2 rest. Pretty sure they were all sub 7(only had 9mins splits so can be exact) It was hard work but a good session to start the day. Hardest part was to keep rowing over the last 2mins to stay ahead of Gary and Darin

Nice going Andy... not sure what to do today... I feel frazzled after the last couple. I may just paddle a bit.
Who's going to the Southampton race next week end? I know Matt Wood, Rob Smith & Dougie are.. + me obviously. Anyone heard from Oz? He did it last year.

Jef -
Do a 2 x 5k or something but at about 65-70% max HR.
I have been doing low HR 15k's when I have been tired and have felt great the following day.
Alternatively - Take a rest day - It won't do you any harm

Hmm.. to do a heart rate row john, I'd have to wear my garmin runners watch and try put the watch somewhere I could see the readout..
I may just go buy some new music and chill out whilst paddling

I use a rubber band to fix my Suunto to the place where the handle usually rests. It's not failed in a year of use and is in a good place for viewing. You only have to cast your eyes downwards and it's not in your face the whole time.

Joe

Gold (1807m) and Silver (1000m) at the Scottish Championships today. Excellent event very well run and the areana was a good place to row - first competition where my mouth didnt dry up after 100m. Full report once I get access my blog/diary just as soon as I can login.
